Our panels are made by Woven Image and come in a range of decorative finishes, so they improve both the acoustics and the aesthetics of a space.

What is EchoPanel® made from?

EchoPanel® is made from 100% PET (polyethylene terephthalate) felt, manufactured from recycled plastic bottles. It contains no formaldehyde, no VOCs and no chemical irritants. The material is dense, durable and designed specifically for acoustic absorption in commercial and residential interiors.

What NRC ratings do the panels achieve?

NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) ratings vary by panel thickness and mounting method. EchoPanel® 12mm panels typically achieve NRC 0.30–0.45 when wall-mounted, while 24mm panels achieve NRC 0.50–0.75. Panels mounted with an air gap behind them achieve even higher ratings. What sizes are the panels available in?

Panel sizes vary by product range. EchoPanel® sheets are available in 1200 × 2400mm and 1200 × 600mm. Embossed panels and precision cut panels come in specific modular sizes suited to their designs. Acoustic tiles are available in smaller formats for flexible layout options. Check each product page for exact dimensions.

How many colours are available?

Each panel design is available in 20 to 37 colourways, ranging from neutral tones through to bold colours. With 25+ designs in the range, there are over 440 individual panel options to choose from. You can browse and compare all colourways on each product page.

How are acoustic panels installed?

Accepted Answer

Panels can be fixed directly to walls using construction adhesive, mechanical fixings (screws with washers) or a combination of both. For best acoustic performance, mounting with a 25–50mm air gap behind the panel is recommended. Panels can be cut to size on site using standard woodworking tools. We recommend professional installation for large or complex projects.

Can I order samples?

Yes. We offer samples so you can see and feel the panel finish, check colour accuracy and assess the material before ordering full panels. Contact us to arrange samples for your project.

What is the minimum order?

There is no minimum order quantity for panels. You can order as few or as many panels as your project requires. All orders are processed through Footprint Creative.

How does shipping work?

Accepted Answer

Panels are shipped in boxes, with up to 5 panels per box. Shipping is $150+GST per box, and orders over $500 qualify for free shipping. Perth metro customers can also pick up from our Balcatta showroom. Interstate freight is via TNT or StarTrack. Allow 5–7 business days for delivery.

Are the panels fire rated?

Yes. EchoPanel® panels are tested to AS/NZS 3837 and ISO 9705 and achieve a Group 1 fire rating, making them suitable for use in commercial buildings, offices, schools and healthcare facilities. Individual test certificates are available on request.

Are the panels sustainable and recyclable?

Yes. All panels are made from 100% PET felt manufactured from recycled plastic bottles. The material contains no formaldehyde or VOCs. EchoPanel® holds independent carbon neutral certification from Climate Active. At end of life, panels can be recycled back into PET products.
